Founding Engineer

Build the future of fundraising at Triple

Apply now

Job Summary

Triple is the first AI search engine for fundraising. We help universities, hospitals, and charities find the right donors. A fundraiser can search: “Canadian tech leaders worth $10M+ who donated $25K+ to hospitals last year,” and instantly see the best prospects.

To make this possible, we've built a massive dataset of people and a system that uses AI for contextual entity resolution at scale.

We're hiring a Founding Engineer as our first full-time engineering hire. You'll work directly with the CEO to build the core product, make foundational technical decisions, and ship features used by real customers.

This is a full-time role based in Toronto. Salary and equity will be discussed during the interview process.

01

Build the Core Product

Develop features that help fundraising teams search, evaluate, and organize potential donors.

02

Build Natural-Language Search

03

Improve Entity Resolution

Build systems that identify and connect information about the same person or organization across different sources.

04

Develop Data Infrastructure

Improve how Triple collects, cleans, structures, and searches large amounts of donor data.

05

Understand how fundraising teams use Triple, turn their feedback into features, and iterate quickly.

03

End-to-End Product Building

You can take a feature from an unclear idea through design, development, deployment, and iteration.

04

Technical Judgment

You can make practical decisions about architecture, infrastructure, security, and reliability.

05

Ownership

You’re comfortable working on a small team, making decisions independently, and taking responsibility for important parts of the product.
